The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) continues to make strides in its third Moon mission, Chandrayaan-3. On Friday, ISRO announced that the spacecraft has already covered about two-thirds of the distance to the Earth's satellite. The Lunar Orbit Injection (LOI) is scheduled for August 5 at approximately 1900 hrs, as stated in ISRO's tweet. After the successful trans-lunar injection (TLI) conducted on August 1, the spacecraft is now on its way to the Moon's vicinity. ISRO posted a photo of the Moon, celebrating the successful perigee-firing performed at ISTRAC, which injected the spacecraft into the translunar orbit. The next important milestone is the Lunar-Orbit Insertion (LOI) planned for August 5, 2023. During the lunar-centric phase, the spacecraft will orbit the Moon four times, gradually reducing the distance to the lunar surface with each orbit. To ensure a safe landing, precise braking techniques will be employed. Before the landing attempt, ISRO will thoroughly assess the landing site region, identifying safe zones
