TDP state spokesperson Anam Venkataramana Reddy lambasted MLA Anil for allegedly lying about his assets while taking a solemn oath. Reddy, while addressing the media in Nellore, questioned the role of certain individuals in Anil's property documents. "Who is Chiranjeevi as per the property papers? Why were Sakshi documents signed by your personal assistant, Nagaraju, and why are there documents bearing the name of a local cool drink shop owner?" he inquired pointedly. He speculated whether Chiranjeevi, Nagaraju, and the cool drink shop owner were affiliated with Anil. Anam Venkataramana Reddy further implored divine forgiveness for Anil for allegedly making false oaths. Additionally, Anam Venkataramana Reddy brought up an incident from August 2017 where Anil was questioned in relation to a cricket betting case.
