In a significant loss for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), senior leader Lalam Bhaskara Rao from Visakhapatnam has passed away after battling a prolonged illness. Bhaskara Rao, who recently underwent a heart surgery, breathed his last at a private hospital in the locality, leaving behind a void in the political landscape. Lalam Bhaskara Rao held a prominent position as a key leader in the Yelamanchili constituency and was well-known for his close association with former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao. His leadership and influence in the region made him a respected figure within the TDP. Upon hearing the news of Bhaskara Rao's demise, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, national general secretary Nara Lokesh, and minister Gudivada Amarnath expressed their deep condolences.
