Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Dashmat Rawat, the tribal labourer who was urinated upon, and tendered an apology by washing his feet at his official residence. In a compassionate gesture, Rawat was presented with a new shawl and shared breakfast with the Chief Minister. Rawat's wife received benefits from Ladli Behna Yojana, and his house was constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The Chief Minister expressed regret for the inhumane act and arrested the perpetrator, Pravesh Shukla, who faces charges under IPC and National Security Act.
