The Supreme Court of India has passed a verdict convicting Krishna Reddy, former personal assistant (PA) to ex-minister YS Vivekananda Reddy, in a high-profile murder case. Additionally, the apex court rejected Krishna Reddy's plea to be regarded as a victim in the case. Krishna Reddy had petitioned the Supreme Court, requesting the authority to challenge Dastagiri's status as an approver in the murder investigation. The Apex court, however, dismissed the plea, stating its unwillingness to interfere in the case. The Supreme Court has directed both parties to present their arguments before the High Court. In its statement, the court clarified that the High Court has the discretion to make an independent decision on the matter, regardless of its perspective on the issue. Written directives concerning this judgment are expected to be issued tomorrow.
