Uttar Pradesh: A shocking incident has recently surfaced from the Shahjahanpur area of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where a group of children playing in a local park made a distressing discovery, a leopard cub. A video capturing the incident shows one of the children aggressively handling the cub, subjecting it to mistreatment despite its desperate attempts to escape. The child even went to the extent of tying the cub with a string, causing further harm. Authorities from the Meerut Forest Division were promptly alerted about the situation. Responding swiftly, they took immediate action to ensure the safety and well-being of the cub. With the expertise of wildlife professionals, the leopard cub was successfully reunited with its mother during the early hours of the morning at around 3:30 AM.
