Hyderabad: In a bid to enhance passenger experience, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is going the extra mile. As per sources, TSRTC has unveiled a new initiative where passengers traveling long distances will now receive a complimentary snack box with their bus ticket. Building upon their existing provision of water bottles on air-conditioned buses, the corporation is now set to offer fresh and tasty snack boxes. The pilot project for this new offering will commence on Saturday, exclusively on nine electric 'e-Garuda' buses operating along the Hyderabad-Vijayawada route. Based on the feedback and response from passengers, TSRTC plans to extend this service to other routes in the future. The snack box comprises a delectable assortment of sweet and savory delicacies, accompanied by a tissue paper and mouth freshener. Remarkably, the TSRTC has included the snack box at a nominal price of Rs. 30, which is integrated into the ticket fare.
