Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma found themselves in hot water after pictures of them riding bikes without helmets surfaced on social media. The celebrities opted for bike rides to beat the notorious Mumbai traffic while commuting to work. Amitab shared the pic on social media and thanked the rider who helped him to reach the workplace on time. However, several users were upset after the actors along with their riders failed to wear helmets during their rides and complained to Mumbail police tagging them. In response, Mumbai Police acknowledged the concerns and took swift action. They tweeted, "We have forwarded this to the traffic branch. @MTPHereToHelp".
