Indian cricket sensation Shubman Gill has made a remarkable entry into the entertainment world, lending his voice to the iconic superhero Spider-Man. Gill has dubbed for the character in both Hindi and Punjabi versions of the highly anticipated film, Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. Sony Pictures India, the top distribution company responsible for the film's release in the country, recently released a special announcement video featuring the talented batsman. In a fascinating twist, the Indian versions will refer to Spider-Man as Pavitr Prabhakar. Shubman Gill's involvement marks a significant achievement, as he becomes the first Indian sports star to contribute his voice to a Hollywood franchise. The film is slated for release on June 2 in India and will be available in ten languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, and Bengali.
