Nara Lokesh, the National General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has accused local legislator Hafiz Khan, of the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), of encroaching upon a significant amount of land. The accusations were made during Nara Lokesh's ongoing 'Yuvagalam' padayatra in Kurnool, a political walkathon that has now reached its 93rd day. In response to the allegations, Hafiz Khan vehemently denied the claims and invited Nara Lokesh to a discussion at a local mosque. He asserted that he would take an oath on the Quran to prove his innocence. A large group of YSRCP supporters and activists accompanied Hafiz Khan, chanting slogans against TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh. As tensions rose in the area, YSRCP legislator Hafiz Khan and his supporters attempted to approach Nara Lokesh's Yuvagalam Padayatra.
