Nara Lokesh, the National General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has accused local legislator Hafiz Khan, of the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), of encroaching upon a significant amount of land. The accusations were made during Nara Lokesh's ongoing 'Yuvagalam' padayatra in Kurnool, a political walkathon that has now reached its 93rd day. In response to the allegations, Hafiz Khan vehemently denied the claims and invited Nara Lokesh to a discussion at a local mosque. He asserted that he would take an oath on the Quran to prove his innocence. A large group of YSRCP supporters and activists accompanied Hafiz Khan, chanting slogans against TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh.
