Mumbai: In a horrifying incident, at least six people were severely injured after seven vehicles collided with each other on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Thursday. The incident occurred when a truck reportedly failed to brake and crashed into several vehicles, causing a chain reaction. The accident happened on the expressway near Maharashtra's Khopoli, leading to a pile-up involving seven to eight cars. In the video footage captured at the scene, several cars can be seen piled up on top of each other, with the wreckage causing massive disruption to vehicular traffic. The injured were rushed to the nearest healthcare facility, and thankfully, no fatalities have been reported so far. Police teams immediately arrived on the scene to manage the situation and send the injured to the hospital. The collision caused significant traffic congestion, affecting vehicular movement towards Mumbai for some time.
