Eluru: In a shocking incident, a young engineering student was tortured by a man for not reciprocating his love. The incident took place in Duggira, Pedavegi Mandal of Eluru district. The accused, identified as Anudeep, allegedly locked the victim in a room and poured hot oil on her, causing serious injuries to her arms and legs. The victim managed to escape and informed her parents, who immediately reported the incident to the police. The victim is currently undergoing treatment at Eluru Government Hospital, where doctors have confirmed her stable condition. The police have registered a case against the accused based on the victim's parents' complaint.
