Srikakulam: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced that he will be shifting the state government's base to Visakhapatnam in September as part of the decentralization of administration. Addressing the public meeting in Srikakulam, the Chief Minister stated that Vizag is a convenient place and acceptable location for everyone in the state and added that he will stay in Visakhapatnam from September. He made the announcement after laying the foundation stone for the construction of Moolapet Greenfield Port and a colony for displaced families in Santabommali of Srikakulam district. CM YS Jagan also laid the foundation for the Vamsadhara Lift Irrigation project in Etcherla mandal Budagatlapalem fishing harbor and Hira mandal, and expressed his belief that these development programs would change the face of Srikakulam.
