The official teaser for the upcoming Telugu film, Katha Venuka Katha, was released on Friday by director Gopichand Malineni, known for his work on films like Krack and Veera Simha Reddy. The one-minute-long teaser opens with a young boy named Viswanth narrating a crime tale to a character. He reveals that several girls who had gone missing have been found dead, one after the other, over the course of a year. Sunil, who plays a cop in the film, is also seen working on the case. The conversations between Viswanth and Sunil, who play two characters on opposite sides of the law, drive the story forward. Katha Venuka Katha stars Viswanth Duddumpudi, Srijitha Ghoush, and Subha Sri in lead roles. Written and directed by Krishna Chaitanya, the film is produced by Dandamudi Avanindra Kumar, under their home banner Dandamudi Box Office. It is their maiden feature.
