Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy recently stated that the upcoming 2024 general elections in the state would be a battle between the classes, rather than castes, at a review meeting on the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam (GGPM) program. During the meeting, held at his camp office in Tadepalli, Jagan emphasized that the ruling government represents the poor and that a loss in the elections would result in the domination of corrupt and deceitful politics. The GGPM program aims to bring the government closer to the people by providing services and addressing their concerns at their doorstep. Jagan expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of 20 MLAs who were lagging behind in implementing the program and warned them that their lack of progress could cost them their ticket in the next election. He also emphasized that the government would closely monitor the performance of each MLA and leader through regular visits to their constituencies.
