Bapatla: A farmer in Uddandarayapalem, Bapatla district, has expressed his admiration for TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh by creating a paddy crop portrait of him. The farmer, named Mariyadasu, reportedly gave 18 acres of land for the construction of the capital Amaravati. Nara Lokesh supported him during this difficult time. To show his gratitude, Mariyadasu planted 40 lakh paddy seeds on one acre to create the portrait of Nara Lokesh. Despite not owning agricultural land, Mariyadasu took an acre of land on lease to complete the project. After 99 days of sowing, he plans to present the crop yield to Lokesh's mother Nara Bhuvaneswari today.
