Munugode: Only a few hours left for Munugode by-polls and now people of a few villages in the constituency are staging protests questioning why no money was distributed to them to cast their vote. According to the reports, a few women voters of Koratikal village questioned a political party leader about why no money was distributed to them. After the video went viral on social media, the poll officials reached the village and are questioning the person who was in the video. Earlier, the poll officials seized the chicken in a shop which was packed to distribute to the voters. It is alleged that the main political parties in the constituency distributed Rs 3000 to Rs 10000 per vote in several villages in the constituency.
