Rahul Gandhi, a senior member of the Congress, was participating in the Bharat Jodo Yatra when an unforeseen incident occurred in Telangana. Unknown person suddenly entered the area between Mr. Rahul Gandhi and the Police and CISF protection circle. Then, the stranger grabbed the Congressman's feet. When police were alerted, they removed that individual from the area. It has been reported that Mr. Rahul Gandhi expressed disappointment about the security lapse. After the event, police and CISF security personnel reinforced the security procedure. When Mr. Rahul Gandhi began his walkathon from Shadnagar and travelled toward Shamsabad, the incident occurred.
