On behalf of the State government, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy offered Lord Venkateswara Swamy a "silk vastram" in the holy city of Tirumala. He will also take part in the TTD's Pedda Sesha Vahana Seva procession later. Ministers Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Narayana Swamy, R K Roja, and other MLAs accompanied CM YS Jagan. On the other hand, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is preparing for its yearly celebration, "Brahmotsavam," which is set to take place this year between September 27 and October 5. After covid-19 restriction, Brahmotsavam is being observed after a two-year hiatus. To prepare for the expected massive audience, the TTD has devised elaborate arrangements.
