Recent reports claim that on September 29, 2022, at the opening of the India Mobile Congress (IMC), the Indian government will formally introduce 5G. According to reports, the rollout of 5G services would take place in stages, with the first phase seeing only 13 selected locations receive the high-speed 5G internet services. Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune are some of these cities. Reliance Jio placed top in the 5G spectrum auction data for India, followed by Bharti Airtel. This clearly implies that these two providers would lead the way in offering the nation's fastest internet. The fifth generation of cellular technology is referred to as 5G.
