Reorganizing Assembly seats in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is only feasible after 2026, according to the Center. On Wednesday, July 27, the central government provided clarification regarding the increase of assembly seats during parliament sessions. It stated that a constitutional modification is required to expand the number of assembly districts.
