Politics in the state have become more heated as a result of the flood threat to residents in Andhra Pradesh's remote villages. The opposition parties have been criticising the governing YSRCP, claiming that it has not treated the victims fairly by giving them access to the necessities. Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, a former finance minister and prominent TDP leader, blasted the Jagan administration, claiming that his aerial visits to flood-affected areas without consulting with Collectors, district SPs, or local bureaucrats are pointless. The leaders of the ruling party, notably Minister Ambabi Rambabu, have retaliated against TDP members and questioned the part that the former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu played during his administration during the floods.
