With images showing them enjoying the pleasures of the palace, Sri Lankan protesters have been seizing President Gotabaya Rajapaksa's official mansion for more than 48 hours. While looting the building, they came across a hidden bunker. What President Rajapaksa was keeping in the bunker has been called into question by the demonstrators. Media outlets that were reporting from inside the Presidential palace also noticed the underground bunker where curious demonstrators were swarming. A fake cupboard that the protesters have destroyed to gain access to the palace's secret spaces conceals the bunker. There are both stairs and an elevator that lead to the bunker. However, the door to it remains shut. The massive metal security door was impossible to break down or force open.
