Telangana's first government, led by K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), faced an impossible power deficit, as the newly established state's power supply was irregular due to disproportionate power supply and insufficient transmission capacity. CM KCR, on the other hand, accomplished the promise of 24 hours of uninterrupted electricity supply within 200 days of the state's inception, thanks to his actions. Telangana has no power outages today, and it is the only Indian state that provides high-quality power to all sectors 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In just seven years, the state's installed electricity capacity has risen from 7,600 megawatts in 2014 to 17,305 megawatts in 2021.
