Union Minister Kiren Rijiju responded to a British Member of Parliament's criticism of 'bulldozing of homes and shops' in India, saying he did not blame her. Rijiju stated on Twitter that the young British MP Nadia Whittome was oblivious of the facts and was portraying a negative image of Indians. The Union Minister blamed the negative campaign on the 'tukde-tukde gang,' which he claims is simply out to 'discredit the efforts' of the PM Narendra Modi-led union government. Johnson was in India for two days for bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, his images aboard a JCB excavator made news, and he was questioned about human rights issues as a result.
