Gudivada: Tension escalated after the mud mafia attacked revenue officials when they made an attempt to prevent the illegal mining of mud in Moturu, Gudivada in Krishna. According to the reports, after getting the information about the illegal mining of mud, the revenue officials are conducting continuous searches in the area. It is learnt that the mud mafia brutally attacked Revenue Inspector Aravind who tried to prevent the illegal mud mining. Speaking to the media, RI Aravind said that after receiving the information, he passed the information to VRO and other officials and reached the spot. He added that he tried to prevent them by standing before the JCB and but they attacked him and punched him in his face.
