Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, president of the YSR Congress and chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, has nominated in-charge ministers for districts as part of a revamp of the party and administrative structure. It has long been customary for the chief minister to appoint his ministers as in-charges of certain districts in order to ensure cooperation between the party and the administration in these areas. Traditionally, ministers from one district were appointed as in-charge ministers for other districts. According to the latest reports, RK Roja has been appointed in-charge minister of Krishna district. Likewise, Taneti Vanitha, Dharmana Prasad, Sidiri Appala Raju, Botsa, Rajanna Dora, Gudivada Amaranath, Dadi Shettiraja, Vishwaroop, KV Usha Sri Charan, Gummanuru Jayaram, Appala Raju, Aadimulapu Suresh have been appointed in-charge ministers of NTR district, Guntur, Kakinada, Srikakulam, Ankapalli, Parvathipuram, West Godavari, Eluru, Chittoor, Satyasai, Kakinada, Kadapa districts respectively. Likewise regional co-ordinators are also likely to be appointed soon.
