The exiting ministers are expected to be handed party responsibilities; insiders suggest they would be good for coordination given their track record as ministers and relationship with the public. YS Jagan Reddy stated in 2019, shortly after his overwhelming victory in the Andhra Pradesh election, that he will choose a new team mid-term as part of his 2024 strategy. The plan was to give everyone a chance while also defeating any anti-incumbency campaign against any MLA who had previously served as minister.
