In Kerala's Munnar forest area, a popular wild elephant known as 'Padayappa' by locals approached a state transport bus. The bus was momentarily halted by the driver. The bus driver and passengers stayed silent for some moments, making no sound. The tusker attempted to pull the front windshield of the bus, which was slanted. After a while, the massive animal left the area without inflicting any damage. This scene was captured on cell phones and shared on social media, where it quickly went viral. Previously, the same elephant caused a commotion on the same route, attacking vehicles and others.
