This film is directed by Abrid Shine and produced by Nivin Pauly and PS Shamnas under the umbrellas of Pauly Jr Pictures and Indian Movie Makers. The cast includes Nivin Pauly, Asif Ali, Lalu Alex, Siddique, Shanvi Srivastava, Vijay Menon, Major Ravi, and others. After 1983 and Action Hero Biju, this is the third time Abrid Shine and Nivin Pauly have collaborated. The plot of Mahaveeryar centres around time travel, fantasy, and legal processes, which are intermingled with amusing and poignant moments, making it a family-friendly entertainment. Chandru Selvaraj's cinematography is award-winning, while Ishaan Chhabra composed both the background soundtrack and the music.
