TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh has alleged that the state has been glooming into darkness due to CM YS Jagan's incorrect decisions on electricity management. In response to the hike in electricity rates, the TDP MLC stated that there was no increase in electricity charges during Chandrababu Naidu's administration, and instead, the government supported the use of solar energy so that the people of the state would not be harmed by the increase. According to Nara Lokesh, the state would not have reached a power crisis if CM Jagan had been able to continue the prior MoUs. He made these remarks while protesting against the government at Mangalagiri, holding a lantern in his hand.
