Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh senior IPS officer AB Venkateswara Rao wrote a letter to state Chief Secretary Sameer Sharma stating the state government has no power to continue his suspension further. In a letter he mentioned, his suspension was ended on 8th February 2022 and is automatically revoked as it completed two years. He further mentioned that it needs the Union Home Ministry approval to extend his suspension for more than two years. He added that the state government didn't take the permission from the Union Ministry within the time and therefore the state government can't continue his suspension. He further asked the state government to pay his full salary.
