Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a six-month-old baby boy admitted to Niloufer Hospital has been reportedly kidnapped by unknown individuals on Thursday night. The child's mother, Farida Begum, had briefly stepped out to procure food when the incident occurred. The baby, who was already ill, had been admitted to the hospital earlier that afternoon. Upon her return, Farida Begum couldn't find her child anywhere in or around the hospital premises. Concerned and distressed, she immediately contacted the Nampally police. The police have launched an investigation, focusing on a woman who was present in the hospital during the time of the abduction. They have deployed three special teams to expedite the search. Tragically, it has been revealed that the surveillance cameras in the ward were not functioning, hampering potential leads in the case.
