Nagarkurnool: Late on Thursday night, approximately 150 students from a tribal girls' hostel in Mannanur, located in Nagarkurnool's Amrabad mandal, fell unwell after consuming 'tomato chaaru' for lunch. These students reported symptoms such as breathing difficulties and vomiting and were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital with the assistance of fellow students and local residents, utilizing autorickshaws, lorries, and ambulances. Subsequently, they were relocated to the Atchampet government hospital to receive more comprehensive medical care. As a precautionary measure, all 300 girls residing in the hostel underwent medical check-ups at the hospital. This occurrence transpired merely three days following an incident where 103 students from a residential girls' school in Nizamabad fell ill due to suspected food poisoning.
