In a major achievement, India's first-ever Sun-studying spacecraft, Aditya L1, completed its third move closer to Earth earlier today, as announced by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation). The operation was carried out by ISRO's Telemetry, Tracking, and Command Network (ISTRAC). ISRO shared the exciting news on their social media platform X, saying, "The third Earth-bound maneuver was successfully executed from ISTRAC, Bengaluru. ISRO's ground stations in Mauritius, Bengaluru, SDSC-SHAR, and Port Blair closely tracked the satellite during this operation." The spacecraft has now reached a new orbit at 296 kilometers by 71,767 kilometers. The next maneuver is planned for September 15, around 2 am, marking another important step in this groundbreaking mission to study the Sun.
