Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) staged a protest in London against the alleged illegal arrest of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief Chandrababu Naidu. The demonstrators expressed their discontent with the arrest, which they deemed undemocratic. During the protest, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is currently on a visit to London, encountered opposition from NRIs in the vicinity of his stay. The protesters attempted to encircle the area where CM Jagan was residing. The NRIs raised their voices in unison, chanting slogans against CM Jagan, with some accusing him of being "psycho." They called for a change in government leadership, advocating for Chandrababu Naidu to assume the role of Chief Minister of the state.
