On Monday, the Telangana high court declined to give bail to YS Bhaskar Reddy, the father of Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy, and their friend Uday Kumar Reddy. They are linked to the murder of former Andhra Pradesh minister YS Vivekananda Reddy in 2019. The court said there is strong evidence showing Bhaskar and Uday's involvement in the crime. The court also believes they might scare or harm witnesses. Already, two witnesses have died in strange ways related to this case. Both Bhaskar Reddy and Uday Kumar Reddy were arrested in April and are now in Chanchalguda Jail. They tried to get bail from the high court after their first request was turned down in June by a special court.
