Hyderabad: A significant milestone has been achieved within the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy lift scheme, a major initiative undertaken by the state government. Officials from the irrigation department have successfully conducted a dry run of the motor at the Narlapur pump house. Following this, a wet run will be carried out in the next 15 days, enabling the lifting of Krishna waters from the Srisailam backwaters to the Narlapur reservoir. This marks the commencement of a well-structured plan to fill the Karivena reservoir with water, a process expected to be completed within 45 days.
