The Aditya L-1 satellite, launched by ISRO for studying the Sun, has achieved a major success. After its successful launch into Earth's orbit on Saturday, ISRO has now confirmed that the satellite's first orbit-raising maneuver has been completed successfully. Currently, Aditya L-1 is in a new orbit positioned at a distance of 245 kilometers by 22,459 kilometers. ISRO shared the news through a tweet, revealing that the maneuver was executed from the ISRO Telemetry, Tracking, and Command Network in Bengaluru. The satellite, Aditya L-1, is reported to be functioning well. ISRO also stated that the next maneuver is scheduled for September 5 at 3 am. After a journey of 125 days, Aditya L-1 will reach the Lagrange point, where it will commence its mission of exploring and studying the Sun.
