Mandamarri: In a distressing incident in Telangana's Mancherial district, two youths, including a Dalit, were brutally tortured on suspicion of theft. The victims were hung upside down, physically assaulted, and even exposed to smoke from a fire. The incident occurred in Mandamarri, and videos of the torture surfaced on social media. Teja (19), who worked at a sheep farm, and his friend Kiran (30) were accused of stealing a goat and iron rods from the shed about 20 days prior. The employer and his family members carried out the torture. Police have registered a case under the SC, ST Act and are investigating.
