Khammam: An earthquake jolted Manuguru once again, this time at 4:43 am on Friday morning. The sudden tremors caused houses to sway and startled residents from their sleep, leading them to rush out onto the streets in panic. Thankfully, there have been no reported casualties or property damages. Authorities are currently gathering comprehensive information about the event. Just five days ago, on a Saturday evening, a minor earthquake had shaken the Manuguru mandal. Local residents experienced this firsthand, noting that the unusual noises were a result of household objects shifting due to the ground's unprecedented shaking. The impact of the earthquake was felt across areas including Manuguru, Pujarinagar, Rajpet, Kothakondapuram, Sundarayyanagar, and Adarshnagar. Despite the scheduled natural blasting at the local Singareni coal mines occurring between 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm, the subsequent tremors that occurred after 4:00 pm caught residents off-guard, causing many to exit their homes in fear.
