Hyderabad: Bathini Harinath Goud, one of the well-known Battini brothers who distributed fish prasadam to asthma patients, has passed away in Hyderabad. The 84-year-old had been unwell for some time and his health worsened, leading to his demise on Wednesday night. Harinath Goud's name has become closely associated with the fish prasadam remedy. Every year on Mrigasira Karthi, the Bathini family distributes fish medicine at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds in Hyderabad. This event attracts a large number of asthma patients from across Telangana and different parts of the country. They come a couple of days before the event to receive the fish prasadam treatment. Harinath Goud's passing is a significant loss for this tradition.
