On Monday, August 14, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) shared pictures of the Aditya-L1 mission. This mission is ISRO's first time trying to study the Sun up close. The satellite for this mission is now at the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. It's getting ready to be put on the PSLV rocket for launch. The Aditya-L1 satellite will look at the Sun and gather data about its atmosphere and magnetic field. The satellite has seven tools on it to check out things like the Sun's outer layer, its bursts of energy, and the solar winds. It will take pictures of the Sun all day and night.
