In a heartwarming rescue operation, a 3-year-old child, Shivam Kumar, who had fallen into a borewell in Kul village, Bihar's Nalanda district, was safely rescued. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team played a crucial role in the five-hour-long operation, which required meticulous planning and dedicated teamwork. Officials reported that a farmer had dug the borewell but failed to close it, leading to the tragic incident. When the children playing with Shivam noticed the mishap, they informed his parents, who immediately initiated the rescue operation. The NDRF team arrived at the scene promptly, and their swift efforts ensured the safe retrieval of the child. An NDRF officer stated that Shivam is in good health and has been taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
