In a shocking turn of events unfolding in Adelaide, Australia, a 21-year-old Indian nursing student was allegedly kidnapped and brutally murdered by her former boyfriend in what the court has labeled as an "act of vengeance". The grim details of this murder that took place in 2021 have only recently come to light. The victim, Jasmeen Kaur, of Punjabi origin, was reportedly kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend, 22-year-old Tarikjot Singh, also of Indian origin. Singh is accused of driving Kaur approximately 650 kilometers away from Adelaide, into the desolate wilderness of South Australia's Flinders Ranges, where he subsequently buried her alive. Evidence reveals a chilling sequence of events where Kaur was bound with cable ties and buried in a shallow grave at Moralana Creek in the Southern Australia region, an act of retaliation that Singh admitted to in court.
