Eluru: In a dramatic turn of events, a public meeting organized by the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) took an unfortunate turn when the stage on which party leaders and activists were seated collapsed suddenly, resulting in minor injuries to several individuals. The incident occurred during the "Bavishattuki Guarantee" program held in Battulavari Gudem, Nuzividu Mandal, Eluru. Former minister Nimmakayala Chinnarajappa was addressing a large gathering when strong gusts of wind caused the stage to give way, causing chaos and panic among the attendees. Approximately ten people on the stage, including Nimmakayala Chinnarajappa, TDP leaders Chintamaneni Prabhakar, Pitala Sujatha, and others, fell as a result of the collapse, sustaining minor injuries in the process. Emergency services were immediately summoned to the scene, and the injured individuals were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital in Nuzvid for medical treatment.
