In a remarkable move to underscore the importance of millets, Moka Vijaya Kumar, a railway worker turned artist based in the city, plans to display his unique art at the forthcoming Global Investors' Summit (GIS). With 2023 being declared as the 'Year of Millets', Kumar's art not only aligns with this theme but also becomes a meaningful gift for the attendees. Kumar has skilfully used a variety of millets like sorghum, kodo, finger, and pearl, along with black sesame seeds to breathe life into the portraits of prominent figures. These include Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, CM KCR, KTR and leading industrial magnates like Birla, Ambani, Adani, and Anand Mahindra, among others. In a conversation with The Hans India, Kumar revealed that he dedicated 15 days to the creation of each portrait, an homage to the industry leaders who epitomize India's pride. "The international recognition of my work is an honor," he said, reflecting
