Madhya Pradesh: Bhopal's Satpura Bhawan, a government building housing crucial offices such as the CBI, EOW, tribal welfare, and health department, experienced a significant fire incident that has now been extinguished. However, the incident has stirred up political tensions, with the Congress party claiming a conspiracy theory behind the blaze. According to Bhopal District Collector Ashish Singh, the fire originated on the building's third floor and quickly spread to the fourth, fifth, and sixth floors, leading to a challenging situation. Singh confirmed that the fire has been brought under control with the collective efforts of multiple authorities. Fortunately, all individuals were safely evacuated before the fire could cause any casualties. However, the flames ravaged important documents related to various departments, reducing them to ashes. Singh acknowledged the joint efforts of the CISF, BMC, Airport, and local administration in successfully dousing the fire.
