East Godavari: In a tragic incident, six people were killed including two women, a child and two others injured severely after a car rammed into a lorry. The incident took place near Anantapally in Nallajarla Mandal of East Godavari. According to the sources, the incident took place when the car travelling from Vijayawada to Rajahmundry. The deceased were identified as residents of Prakash Nagar, Rajahmundry. The injured were immediately shifted to the nearby hospital and the condition of one of the persons is critical. The police registered a case and an investigation is underway.
