In his complaint, Sachin Tendulkar highlighted the unauthorized utilization of his esteemed reputation, image, and voice to deceive unsuspecting individuals online. Taking swift action, the Cyber Cell of the Mumbai Police's Crime Branch has promptly registered a case under sections 420, 465, and 500 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and initiated a thorough investigation into the matter. Concerned about the misuse of his identity, Sachin Tendulkar also took to his official Twitter handle to raise awareness among the public regarding the illicit activities. Through his social media platform, he notified his followers that his name, photo, and voice were being exploited without his consent, with the sole purpose of defrauding innocent individuals.
